Prof. Rania Rushdy Moussa

Associate Prof. Moussa is a nationally renowned architect, she earned two Ph.D.’s. Degrees: her first was from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2017, while her second was from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, in 2021. She received five research awards in the last five years. Dr. Moussa significantly expanded the quality of her research work integrating RE with urban spaces, energy-efficient buildings, sustainable building materials, sustainable design, and carbon emissions reduction. She designed and built the first solar station for charging electric cars in Cairo, Egypt. Furthermore, she is an editorial boards member and reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals. She was elected as an AAS Affiliate in 2022–2026 for her field applications in integrating renewable energy with urban spaces. Dr. Moussa has published more than 55 research in the past five years, and she has awarded seven grants.
